The joys of homeownership

We were sitting around this morning, enjoying the quiet, when all of a sudden we heard a loud pop. We all heard it, even Greg craned his neck around to look at what had made the noise. A minute later, my curiousity got the best of me and I asked Andrew to go investigate. What he found was quite a surprise....our toilet apparently became a victim of spontaneous combustion! The tank has a huge crack in it and all the water from the tank had flooded out onto the bathroom floor. Nice. So instead of preparing for our bbq with the neighbors, we spent the morning looking up tutorials on the internet for how to replace a toilet. On a positive note; at least it's Memorial Day and Home Depot is having lots of sales! Ah, the joys of being a homeowner!
