4th of July, 2009

We got up early this year and met some friends at the 4th of July parade here in Highlands Ranch. It was lots of fun and Greg was super cute as usual. Here's a few pics of my patriotic baby boy!

Lots of Learning

Greg had quite a busy week this week. He's learned so much stuff in this last week that I'm just amazed! New words are: yucky, baby, book....he can now show you where his ears, toes and tummy are (sometimes nose too if you're lucky), he'll give you a mean high five and he's just started clapping. So cute! His vocabulary now includes the following words: mama, dadda, yucky, baby, book, poop, duck, bath, hi, banana, & yum yum.

He is also turned into quite the little monkey! He loves to climb and I've already found him sitting on the coffee table in the living room, he climbs on all the chairs and couches, has mastered the whole flight of stairs (up & down) and if I leave his sippy cup on the kitchen table, he'll pull out a chair and just climb up and get it! He not only walks, but runs and never gives poor Angel a moment's peace. Thank goodness we have a gentle and patient pooch!

It's just amazing what kids pick up - their capacity to learn is truly astonishing!
