Cycle day 9: follicle check and blood work

I went in at 7:15 this morning for the usual follicle check ultrasound and blood work and I have really good progress to report today!  My left ovary has 3 promising follicles measuring at 14 mm, 12 mm, and 10 mm.  My right ovary is even better with a 15.5 mm follicle and another one measuring at 12 mm.  That is potentially 5 eggs!  Oh how I hope they continue to grow...that would be so awesome!

I worked at the church last night, doing child care for a healing prayer service.  Before the service ended, I snuck in and had 3 woman lay hands on me and pray for me and for our fertility journey.  It was so uplifting and inspiring and I really walked away feeling peace and comfort about the whole situation.  Then this morning I get this good progress report and just know that God is working!

Helen (a nurse) called this afternoon and said that Dr Surrey wants me to decrease my dose of Bravelle from 150 IU (or 2 vials) down to 75 IU (or just one vial) per day.  I'm going to take the lower dose tonight and tomorrow night and then go in for another ultrasound and more blood work on Thursday morning at 7:45 am.  I ordered my trigger shot today which will be delivered tomorrow so we will be all ready to go when the time comes.  I'm guessing it won't be more than a few days - maybe Thursday's appointment will show that it's go time.  So until then, I'll just keep up the shots and keep waiting.  More to come on Thursday...
