Last night at church, at about 7:00 I started getting some pretty intense cramping and lower back pain. I came home and Andrew gave me the trigger shot at about 9:45 pm but I was afraid that the cramps I had experienced meant that my body had already ovulated. I usually get a headache during ovulation but have never had cramps like that (probably because I had 4 eggs instead of the normal 1 egg this cycle). I called the Dr first thing this morning because I was afraid we might miss our window if I wait until tomorrow to inseminate.
Long story short, I am headed in to have my IUI in about an hour! Andrew is up north in Greeley at a soccer game (about an hour and a half drive, 1 way) and Greg and I were supposed to be at a little Easter party at our friends house with our church group. So I'm dropping Greg off at the party and heading to the Dr for my IUI. They are going to do an ultrasound to determine if my follicles have collapsed. If they have, that means I have already ovulated, that the eggs have already been released and are already making their way through my fallopian tubes to my uterus. If I haven't ovulated yet, we are still going to do an insemination tomorrow as scheduled. So it looks like I might be doing back to back IUI's both today and tomorrow.
PLEASE PRAY!!!
