Pictures with Santa
Today we took Greg to a local nursery for pictures with Santa and a peek at some live reindeer. He was having a great time until it was his turn to sit on Santa's lap! While most parents there had their kids dressed in their Christmas best, we just had Greg in jeans, complete with drool and wet spots from spilling his sippy cup of water. Other parents in line were coaching their kids, telling them to smile and tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Andrew and I didn't bother...we already knew how this would go, we know our son's personality all too well. He is a firecracker. When it was his turn to sit with Santa, he performed exactly how we expected...and we loved every minute of it! I'm glad the pictures turned out this way, because years down the road when we look back at them, we'll remember what a little pistol Greg has been from day 1!!!!

Thanksgiving 2009
This year at Thanksgiving, we were reminded of just how richly our lives have been blessed. Although we couldn't be with family, we were with the next best thing: great friends. We are so fortunate to have made such amazing friends here in Colorado - I don't know what we'd do without them! This year, we walked next door and shared an amazing meal with our neighbors. The food was fabulous and so was the company. We are so fortunate to have been blessed with good health, our precious son Gregory, our adorable dog Angel, all of our family, friends, Andrew's amazing job, our home and the list goes on and on. Thank you, heavenly Father, for bestowing on us the richest blessing of all; Your unfailing love and abundant grace.

20 months old and Greg can say his ABCs!
I tried to upload this video to the blog itself but after several failed attempts, I'm resorting to just posting the You Tube link instead.

Greg using his crib as a bounce house
Thanks for teaching him this Grandma! This is how Greg woke up from his nap today. I heard this strange thumping sound, ran into his room, and discovered this....

Halloween 2009
Greggy was a little elephant for Halloween this year. The trunk stuck straight up on the top of his head and the little tail would wag every time he ran. It was sooo cute and also quite hilarious! We started our fun on Friday at Daddy's office Halloween party, then to our church for some festivities Friday night. Then on Saturday we got him dressed up but we stayed home and hung out on the front porch, passing out candy to the neighborhood kids. Greg's friend Sylvia came over to trick or treat too! He was the cutest little elephant ever!

Snow storm day 2 (10/29/09)
Day 2 of the snow storm....18 inches and counting! Our umbrella on the back patio broke this morning under the weight of the snow. It was knee deep for me and chest deep for Greggy. Although Angel usually loves snow, even she was too timid to leave the front porch today until Andrew plowed a little path from her doggy door to the back lawn. And yes, the dog was wearing a pink jacket...we used to live in the OC, remember?

Colorado Snow Storm
We're in day 1 of a pretty good snow storm. Between today and tomorrow, we're supposed to get 12 - 24 inches. Good thing Grandma bought Greg an awesome snow suit while she was here this weekend! Angel had fun truckin' around in the snow too! Check it out!

Grandma's Visit
Grandma came to visit Greggy for a couple days and we had lots of fun! They spent hours jumping on Grandma's bed, laughing while Greggy learned to stand on his head (with Grandma's help of course) and playing with a Halloween Snoopy toy that Grandma brought for Greg. We went to the park, played at the playground, went to "My Gym" and went on a hike at beautiful South Valley Park. We had so much fun and Greg cried when Grandma left

Pumpkin Festival 10-18-09
We took Greg to the Pumpkin Festival at the Botanical Gardens @ Chatfield State Park this year. It was a surprisingly warm day with very large crowds of people. We went with some of our friends from church, Ben, Allison and their daughter Isabella. It was a fun day with lots of fun pics. Here are a few fun shots from the day...

We broke down and bought a 2nd Cozy Coupe!
We broke down and bought Greg a Cozy Coupe to have at home, here in Colorado. It's not nearly as nice as the one at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Kingsburg, but it's good enough and the price was right (thanks Craig's List!) This one doesn't have a floor board and the door won't stay closed but it's still lots of fun for Mr. McGregor! Here's a little video of Greg racing down the driveway after we brought it home today. He's just the cutest!

Grandma Kitty's Eggplant Parmesan
We made Grandma Kitty's famous Eggplant Parmesan for dinner last night and Greg thoroughly enjoyed it! He really is my little Italian boy!
